Just in time for Valentines Day! This vegan mocha mousse is AMAZING. With a silky smooth and creamy texture, a hint of espresso, coconut, and chocolate. Your sweety is sure to love this vegan treat. You can also spoil your love with some homemade chocolate truffles. These little beauties melt in your mouth! A combination of dark chocolate and coconut oil give them a creamy texture. 3 flavors to choose from; chocolate orange, salted chocolate almond, or the libido simulating mayan flavor. They are all delicious and the perfect size to pop in your mouth!
Vegan Mocha Mousse
1 can creamed coconut(refrigerated)
1 shot espresso
2tbsp. raw cacao powder
3tbsp. coconut sugar
tsp. vanilla extract
pinch on sea salt
Place all ingredient in blender and pulse until mixed and smooth. Transfer to an air tight container and cool for about 1 hr. Place into serving dish, top with coconut whipped cream and some dark chocolate shavings or a berry. Enjoy with someone you LOVE!
1/2 cup 70% or higher dark chocolate
1/2 cup coconut oil
1 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch Himalayan sea salt
heart-shaped mold tray
Place chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl. Melt for 45 seconds. Stir and heat in 15 minute increments until fully melted. Whisk in vanilla, salt and your flavors. Pour into mold. Freeze until hard. Remove from mold tray and keep in the freezer until ready to eat.
Chocolate Orange: 1-2 tbsp orange juice, 2 tbsp crumbled freeze-dried orange
Salted Chocolate Almond: 1 1/2 tbsp. finely chopped raw almonds, 1/2 tsp. Himalayan sea salt
Mayan: 1tbsp.. cinnamon, 1/4-1/2tsp. cayenne powder, 1 tsp. maca powder
